A new family member

All of you can just get that thought right out of your head - no new Beene babies...this new Beene is a little more hairy.  Let me introduce Gabby....

Gabby is our new Cocker Spaniel puppy and you can tell from the kids faces...they adore her! In fact, the girls are smiling so hard they look like they are about to hurt themselves! So far so good...we adopted her from a very nice lady who was moving. She obviously loved her to pieces, because Gabby is very loving and gentle although at times spastic, but I think this comes with being a cocker spaniel. :)

The kids have had a blast with her and so have I! The kids worked out a plan to take care of her...according to Jake....he will feed her, Lulu will get her water, and Taylor can take care of the poo.  These were Jake's exact words and you should have seen the look on Taylor's face. HA! Needless to say, I've relieved Taylor of her poo duty and we all share the responsibility. They have been doing a great job of helping out. I'm very proud of them all!

Cute dog! I'm sure you'll have better luck than we did. Ours has "special issues"! HA!

Yes, very grateful to have weathered the storm without incident. So many places very close to us really got hit hard.
