Insert Toby Keith tune in the title....I just love that song. I'm that dork in the car who sings at the top of her lungs while driving and occasionally throwing in hand movements....oh yes...I can move...even in the car!
Okay, so Lovely Leigh Ann did a 8 things about me post. How fun! I have so many old and new friends who read here I thought this might be fun to do.
1) I was in the Air Force for 5 years and was a Meteorologist. I LOVE WEATHER...total weather geek. I'm that person who goes outside when bad stuff hits. If I don't have a computer near to track movements and see what the wind speeds are I go into a panic! Must have RADAR!
2) I love guacamole. This passion just started. I could eat some guac all day and be perfectly happy.
3) I wish I was a doctor...an OBGYN to be specific. If I could go back to The 'Grove (Oak Grove High School for those of you not understanding my lingo) I would work my hiney off. There is just something magical about the medical field to me.
4) Since my ship and brain capacity has sailed on becoming a doctor my next career will be a photographer. I love pictures. I could spend all day reading, looking, thinking, and taking pictures. It's my passion. I will make a living doing this in the next 3-5 years.
5) I would love to adopt a child. I think that my kids have a pretty good life and I think our family is pretty cool. I would love to think that I could make a difference in someones life and completely change the path. JD isn't sold on this idea, but I'm not done with him just yet. My mom is adopted and the fact that my grandparents chose her made my life exist. Other wise she would have never met my dad and I wouldn't be here. I know...that's a little deep, but you get the idea.
6) I dance....a lot! It's a daily occurrence actually. I get down in my living room like no one is watching. Well, actually my kids are watching, but they love it. I have been known to get up from the dinner table to dance if a song comes on we like. JD just shakes his head and watches me and the kids dance. After the song is over we return to the table as if nothing ever happened.
7) On a much Debbie downer note...I'm still extremely insecure. I'm so much better than I once was, but I want to be that person who has the confidence that no one can shake. I feel this sometimes when I take pictures, maybe that's why I love it so much.
8) I've been married for 13 years. Seriously, when did I get old enough to be married 13 years? JD and I started dating my senior year of high school and have been together ever since. He drives me crazy most of the time, but I cannot imagine my life without him.
